Smart Training Associates’ is made up of experienced professionals, currently practising on the frontline in the youth justice, youth services, social care and probation fields, with others in central and regional government policy and strategy.

Our trainers are current practitioners who understand the pressures and realities of delivering services and improving the aspirations and lives of young people.

We’re up to date with current and emerging policies and principles of practice, our course are designed to ensure tangible immediate improvements in individual practice as well as an understanding of the need for associated improvements in wider organisational delivery.

In the past 18 months, we have delivered training to over 400 staff in London and, over the next six months, are contracted training to a further 500 police, youth services, YOT staff, teachers, social workers and workers from the third sector / community and voluntary services.

Training provision is offered in various packages designed to meet the needs of the individual and Organisation. Asset, Risk, Pre-Sentence Reports are just some of the areas covering Youth Justice Training taking into account the Scaled Approach and the new Youth Rehabilitation Order.
